Priorities & Goals

New Orleans

I want to share with you several ways that you can be involved in serving Crossroads Community Church and other New Orleans missions.

We hope to have a weekend trip during October of 2017 to help with some outreach efforts with Crossroads. If you have an interest in leading this trip, let us know.

Next, the greatest needs of these church planters are prayer and financial support. Would you place Larry Johnson and Crossroads Church on your church’s prayer list and pray for this ministry regularly. Here are some recent prayer requests from Pastor Larry:

-That we reach our community for Christ

-That we disciple those individuals we reach for Christ to become mature believers

-That we grow to become a self-sustaining church that supports church plants and missions as we are being supported

-That we remain faithful to our calling to make disciples and equip believers

Also, would you consider encouraging the congregation you serve to budget a specific amount in 2017 to fund the ministry of Crossroads Church? If your church is willing, please send this funding to the DRUBA office with the designation, CROSSROADS CHURCH.

If you have a missions group or Sunday School class that would like to encourage Pastor Larry and his wife, Anna, you may send cards or gift cards to Larry & Anna Johnson, 3233 Loyola Drive, Kenner, LA 70065.

The New Orleans Baptist Association has construction projects for skilled workers only. In fact, the recent flooding in Louisiana has created many needs. If you have church members who have expertise in various trades, we hope to put together a trip for a construction team. If you have an interest in leading this team, please let us know.

The Baptist Friendship House in New Orleans serves women who face domestic abuse, human trafficking, as well as people who are in need. There is always a demand for items such as socks, toiletries, etc. If you or someone in your church would be willing to lead an associational emphasis to collect these items, let us know.

Thank you for your faithful ministry.
